Mike Fenwick , DVM – Veterinarian
Dr. Fenwick was born and raised in Fulton, KY where his family owns and still operates a farm. He received his undergraduate degree from The University of Tennessee Martin and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The University of Tennessee in 1982. Dr. Fenwick came to Hermitage Animal Clinic in 1985 and became a partner in the practice in 1996. He is married to Deborah and they have two children, James and Courtney as well as two grandchildren, Will and Clayton. Dr. Fenwick and Deborah have two dogs, Sam and Zoe. In his spare time Dr. Fenwick enjoys duck hunting, golf, fly fishing and spending time with his family. He is a past president of the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association and has worked extensively in organized veterinary medicine to promote the profession and the welfare of animals.

Dr. Christopher Ray – Veterinarian
Dr. Ray came to Hermitage Animal Clinic in 2012 after working at Brentwood Veterinary Clinic. He is a Nashville native and attended Hillsboro High School. Dr. Ray became interested in animals at a young age and was encouraged after several years working in the construction industry to pursue his veterinary degree. Dr. Ray received his undergraduate degree from MTSU and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The University of Tennessee in 2010. He is married to Amy Ray and has two children, Anna and Wesley. His family enjoys the company of two dogs (Beau and Rosy) as well as three cats (Lilly, Gertie and Nola). In his spare time Dr. Ray enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, sports (UT, Titans and Predators), keeping aquarium fish and corals as well as gardening.

Dr. Allison Fields – Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Fields has lived in Middle Tennessee since 1988, when she enrolled in Vanderbilt University for her undergraduate degree. After graduation, she decided to pursue another degree at Middle Tennessee State University and graduated with honors in 1994. She graduated from University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999 and has worked as a small animal Veterinarian in the Greater Nashville area since then. Dr. Fields is married to Michael, and they have a dog (Harper) and three cats (Gamin, Oliver, and Madeleine). They enjoy traveling, fishing, and kayaking together and Dr. Fields is an avid knitter. Dr. Fields is a past board member of the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association, a current board member of the Nashville Academy of Veterinary Medicine and co-hosts a call in television show on Channel 5+ every month.

Dr. Amybeth Rice – Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Amybeth Rice is a native Nashvillian. Her childhood pets were patients of Drs. Wilder and Fenwick and the staff of Hermitage Animal Clinic. Shadowing Dr. Fenwick as a college senior helped her decide on a future in veterinary medicine. She graduated from the College of Charleston in South Carolina in 2000 and the University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Following a small animal internship in Florida, she returned home in 2006 to practice small animal and emergency medicine.
When she isn’t working, she enjoys reading and traveling the world with her husband. She is a fur mom to two cats, Kanga and Sophie, and a French bulldog, Piglet.
Shay Olsen, LVMT- Practice Manager
Daniale Blunkall, LVMT
Daniale graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Columbia State Community College in 2007. She immediately started working at HAC as a full time licensed Veterinary Technician. She has been happily married since 2001 and has two wonderful daughters, as well as 3 dogs and two cats.
Judy graduated from Virginia Intermont College in 1982. She started working at Hermitage Animal Clinic in 1987 and has been with us ever since aside from two years that she worked as a canine obedience trainer. She enjoys utilizing her dog training skills to help clients with new puppies get on the right path to a happy healthy life.
Lindsey Conder, LVMT
Lindsey graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Volunteer State Community College in 2015 and shortly after she obtained her license in Veterinary Technology. She has always had a passion for animals and her and her husband have 4 dogs and several reptiles of their own.
Kelli Lannom, LVMT
Kelli graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Volunteer State Community College in 2018 with an Associate of Applied Science. Later, she received her license in Veterinary Technology. She has been working at a licensed technician for Hermitage Animal Clinic since February 2018. Kelli has a beautiful Golden Retriever, Leo, that she adores!
Shay Olsen, LVMT
Shay graduated from Columbia State Community College in 2013 with an Associates of Applied Science. She later received her license to practice Veterinary Technology and worked for Hermitage Animal Clinic during her time in school and after graduating. She later moved and received her license in the state of Alaska where she lived with her husband for 3 years. She moved back in 2017 to have her son, received her license in Tennessee, and now is back home with her wonderful husband, son, 3 dogs and cat.
Michelle also is one of our technicians when she is not assisting our clients at the front desk.
